50+ ADVENT LUNCHEON:  Friday (12/12) at 11:45am in Danner Hall

BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKS:  following all Masses this weekend in McDuffee.

MIDDLE SCHOOL EDGE: Sunday (12/14) from 5:30-8pm...we'll be celebrating Advent and welcoming the Spoon Man.

SUNDAY NIGHT LIVE:  Sunday (12/14)...we'll be enjoying Jim "Spoonman" Cruise as he entertains us with his flaming spoons act while teaching us about the season of Advent.  

LITURGICAL MINISTER SIGNUPS FOR CHRISTMAS MASSES:  There are still openings for the Christmas Masses...especially ushers.  See the sign-up sheets in the vestibule or sign-up through Ministry Scheduler.

SPIRITUAL STOCK:  We are sending 75 teens and 14 adults to Catholic Heart Workcamp in the summer of 2015.  We would really love your financial support.  You can purchase Spiritual Stock in our teens for $20 a share.  All shareholders will be invited to a banquet in July to hear firsthand how their investment helped make a difference not only for our youth, but the people they served in Nashville, TN and Farmington Hills, MI.  Contact the Formation Office at 538-2600.

CAPTURE MY HEART high school girls retreat will begin at 7pm on Friday (12/19)..drop off is at the front entrance of church.

ADVENT CLEANING MOB will gather on Saturday (12/20) at 9am to help the church look its best for the Christmas season.  We'll be cleaning, polishing, vacumming, wiping down, and other tasks.  All are welcome.  Call 532-9344 if you can help out.


ALL SUNDAY NIGHT LIVE ALUMNI...you are invited to an SNL Reunion on Saturday, Jan. 3.  We will gather at 5:15pm to attend Mass and then gather in the youth room at 6:45pm for dinner and fellowship.  All graduates and post/present core (adult) team members are welcome.  Please RSVP to Merry Hass at mhass@spxcatholic.org or call 538-2600.

JOY IN JANUARY:  A book study of Pope Francis' exhortation The Joy of the Gospel (Evangelii Gaudium) on four Wednesdays in January...starting Jan. 7 at 7pm.  More details to follow. 


DONUT TEAM MEMBERS SOUGHT:  The parish is looking to have coffee and donuts more regularly starting in January.  In order to do this, we are seeking a few families or individuals to help out about once a month especially at the 8:30 Mass.  We are looking for friendly people willing to come, set up, serve, and be a welcoming presence.  If this sounds like something you or your family may be interested in contact Andy Rebollar at 532-9344 or parishlife@spcatholic.org.

•    Brookcrest after the 8:30am Mass any time a month has a fifth Sunday and as a substitute for other ministers to call.
