Stations of the Cross  | Chili Cook-Off

CHILI COOK-OFF:  Join us after 5:30pm Mass on Saturday for the Knights of Columbus Chili Cook-off.  Even if you didn't enter the contest, please come on down..we'll have plenty of chili. There is still time to sign-up; contact Rick Ruemenapp at 890-9757 for more information.
HIGH SCHOOL LEADERSHIP TEAM will meet at 11:45am on Sunday in Danner Hall.
3 MILE PROJECT:  All middle and high school students will attend 3 Mile Project on Sunday from 4:45-8:30pm.

CATHOLIC HEART WORKCAMP FUNDRAISERS UPDATE:  Our teens need your help to get to Nashville, TN and Farmington Hills, MI.  Stop by the Formation Office to buy-a-mile or purchase spiritual stock.  All fundraisers help to offset the cost of camp:

BUY-A-MILE:  241 of 1,342 miles (18% of our goal) have been sponsored to date.  It costs $1 per mile.
SPIRITUAL STOCK:  The team has sold 223 of 375 (59%) of the stocks available for purchase. Stock can be purchased for $20 a share.  There will be a banquet dinner in the summer after the teens return from their trip.  
CHEESE PIZZA TAKE & BAKE:  Next weekend (March 7 & 8) teens will be selling large cheese pizzas.  Cost is $10 per pizza which can be frozen or baked.

MOM'S GROUP ~ Questions with Father Chris:  Join us on Tuesday (3/3) in the McDuffee Room at 7pm...Father Chris will be there to answer all of our questions.  If you haven't attended this year...make this your first meeting.  All are welcome; childcare provided.
GROUP SPIRITUAL DIRECTION:  Wednesday (3/4) at 7pm in McDuffee.
K OF C GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING:  Thursday (3/5) at 7pm in Danner Hall
FIRST FRIDAY BREAKFAST: Join us after the 8:30 Mass on Friday (3/6) in Danner Hall for food and fellowship.

COFFEE & DONUTS:  After the Sunday Masses in Danner Hall next weekend (March 7 & 8); join us and introduce yourself to someone new in our community.

MARRIAGE GETAWAY ~ Cooking your Way to a Better Marriage ~ March 13-14: This year marks our Fourth Annual Marriage Getaway weekend!  We will be going to Maranatha Retreat Center in Muskegon.  The getaway begins at 7pm on Friday and ends after Mass on Saturday evening.  The cost is $200 per couple.  Signup online or contact the Formation Office at 538-2600.
HIGH SCHOOL SPRING RETREAT will be at Gull Lake Ministries from March 20-22.  We will begin Friday at 5pm and end Sunday at 1pm.
NEXT BAPTISM CLASS:  Did you know that Baptisms typically don't occur during the season of Lent?  The next weekend for Baptisms won't be until the Easter season is over.  Our next Baptism Preparation Class is Sunday, March 22 at 1pm in the McDuffee Room.  Contact the parish office at 532-9344 or parishoffice@spxcatholic.org to register.
SHINE NEXT LEVEL HIGH SCHOOL RALLY at 3 Mile Project on March 29 from 3:30-7:30pm, featuring Jackie Francois.  This will include icebreakers, music, keynote and Adoration.

MENTORS MAKING A DIFFERENCE: Do you have an interest in an outreach volunteer opportunity in our community?   Do you have one hour each week (during the school year) to share with an elementary age student? Do you feel you could be a positive role model and friend to a child? Do you have a desire to offer encouragement and support to a student?
