Cinnamon Roll Sale | Catholic Services Appeal


Following all Masses
Help our Catholic Heart Workcamp Team get to Nashville, TN.  Stop buy this weekend and pick up some of our yummy homemade cinnamon rolls; cost is $12 per dozen.
You'll be receiving a letter from Bishop Walkowiak asking you to make a commitment to support the work of our diocesan programs and ministries.  Your offering of treasure supports so many good works that enable Christ and his Church to be seen.  Our parish goal is $123,224 (3.2% increase from last year) and 100% participation. Keep in mind that any amount raised above our goal stays at St. Pius X. Please pray about your gift.

MS EDGE:  Sunday (4/19) at 5:30pm in Danner Hall. Theme is VOCATION!
SUNDAY NIGHT LIVE:  Sunday (4/19) at 7pm.  
FILL THE BUS WITH CANS! We will host a pop can-drive to fill the bus with returnable cans and bottles!  This is an effort to raise money to support the purchase of a home for Sr. Luvia and her children in Haiti.  We will be collecting cans onWednesday, April 22 and Sunday, April 26...so start saving now!

NEXT DONUT DAY is April 26 after the Sunday Masses.
CELEBRATE THE EASTER SEASON with the annual Easter Egg Hunt hosted by the Knights of Columbus.  This will be held on Sunday, April 26...weather permitting this will be outside.  The hunt is for all children 12 years and younger...we'll get started about noon.
50+ ACTIVITIES  Countryside Greenhouse ~ Join us for a colorful trip to Countryside Greenhouse with lunch at Main Street Pub on Tuesday, April 28.  The bus will leave St. Pius X at 11am and return by 3pm.  Please RSVP to the parish office at 532-9344 by April 24.
Prom/Banquet ~ Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 16 from 6:30-9pm for the 50+ prom hosted by the youth of our parish.  This year's theme will be a Hawaiian Luau.  Please come and enjoy a free Hawaiian dinner, fellowship and entertainment.  RSVP to the formation office at 538-2600 by May 12.

PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY:  Do you like to knit or crochet or would like to learn? St. Pius X is beginning a group to make prayer shawls and pray together for those in need of prayers on our parish prayer chain.  The group will meet twice a month.  Find out more about this amazing ministry at our planning/kick-off meeting on Monday, April 27 at 5:30pm in the McDuffee Room.  Contact Karen Tonning at 541-3658 or KTonning21@gmail.com with questions.
FAMILY FLOWER POTTING FUN:  St. Pius X families come join us on Saturday, May 9 from 4-5pm.  Kids will make a mess-free gift for Mother's Day.  And the whole family can enjoy homemade ice cream afterward for a yummy snack.
CONFIRMATION will be held on Tuesday, May 12 at the Cathedral of St. Andrew.  Mass begins at 7pm; all candidates and sponsors need to arrive by 6:30pm.  Candidates and sponsors should be completing their Confirmation journal...they are due on Sunday, April 19

VOLUNTEER AT KIDS FOOD BASKET:  St. Pius X Parish has volunteered to bring 7 people to pack lunches for kids in need from 6-8pm on Thursday, May 21.  Volunteers must be ages 6 and older.  Please contact Debbie Shereda at 791-8949 ortdshereda@sbcglobal.net to register.
USHER MINISTRY:  Ushers are essential for making our liturgies run smoothly and provide a safe, welcoming environment.  We are 32 ushers short and are inviting parish members to join the usher ministry.  You can give us a trial run!  Sign up this weekend after Mass...or contact Jason Jaworowicz at jasonjaworowicz@gmail.com or 269-491-5520.
